Initially bought for our 2-year-old cat to give to her after playing. Unfortunately she did not use it very much. Our new kitten loves it and plays with it a lot. So still 5 stars because it is a very nice toy and I think it depends on the cat how it reacts to it. The older cat is, I think, more of the matatabi, she really likes it.
