What is merino wool?
Merino wool is made from merino sheep. The sheep breed is especially praised for the exceptional quality of its wool.
One of the characteristics of merino wool is that it grows ten times as many hairs per centimeter than normal sheep. These therefore have a very fine structure. This ensures that the merino wool is very soft. Merino wool naturally has a wax layer, the lanolin. This ensures that the wool remains supple.

Great fun. Our Bengals love them. So nice that within an hour there are bald balls. I find it difficult to judge because I think the concept is great, but unfortunately they are not Bengal proof?
